Spread tingle and PrEP awareness
AFC and the Chicago PrEP Working Group launched PrEP4Love, a groundbreaking, citywide PrEP awareness campaign that had 1,601 advertisements on CTA trains, stations and buses upon its launch and 1,006 placements in its second wave of advertisements.
Supported cis- and trans- girls of color
By supporting a youth expert advisory group, AFC’s Project Elevate developed outreach opportunities and a marketing campaign to raise awareness of HIV and STI prevention methods among young cis- and trans- women of color.
Trained women's health providers
Through its regional clinical training project, Midwest HIV Prevention and Pregnancy Planning Initiative (MHPPPI), AFC conducted 21 trainings, workshops and webinars for over 600 health care and service providers on the latest in HIV prevention options, including PrEP, and pregnancy planning into care for people in HIV-impacted communities.
